We are enjoying a rare - nothing to do - weekend. The weather is decent. In fact, yesterday, my son got to play outside in the early afternoon with friends. This is certainly a great part of living in this area. Warmer Winters can be good after all. I mean, I'd love a great big snow... but it may not happen.
Most of you who read my blog know that I love card-making. If you are a newer reader... paper crafting is a big part of who I am. I love to create. When I saw Purrfect Friend Clear Stamp Set at SweetnSassy Stamps, I knew I had to have it. I don't often buy clear stamp sets because digis are so much less expensive, but I treated myself and I don't regret it. lol
I just love my kitty Fred. Well, technically he's Marque's kitty. Fred is red & white and he's a big, mellow guy. And when I colored these two images, we had our gray and white tabby that we were fostering. We got her when she was three weeks old. We called her Annie. She is at a friend's house and enjoying being spoiled no doubt.
Anyway, here are the cards I made from this set. I hope you like them!
Above Image - colored with Copics. The Background Paper is from the Polka Dot
Pad PTI put out years ago. I also used PTI Kraft and Black on this one. The DP is from
Creative Memories about 10 or so years ago. I have quite the stash of old stuff.
Buttons are random and from my button bin. Ribbon is PTI Brown Twill.
Above Image - colored with Copics. The Background Paper matting is
something I put together years ago for who knows what, and it just worked.
I love when that happens. Prima Flowers, Twine & Ribbon (SU) make it a fun card.
I hope you have a great Saturday.
Be safe, wherever you are.
Hugs & Blessings,
Em
Both are adorable Em! I LOVE the way you colored the first one, she looks like a beautiful calico cat! These came out great!
